Museum aan het Vrijthof is a young museum situated in the heart of the city centre, in one of the oldest buildings in Maastricht. This private museum opened in 2012, following extensive renovations.
Temporary exhibitions are held three to four times a year on a wide range of themes and disciplines. Museum aan het Vrijthof is always looking for surprising and unconventional forms of collaboration to achieve its ambition of playing a prominent role in the city and the region.
