Talentlab

Inspiration often lies in the still unknown of the other. Toneelgroep Maastricht and Via Zuid are convinced that encouraging and supporting young talent is essential for the future of the performing arts. This is why we have been organizing Talentlab since 2017.
In Talentlab, young promising professional talents from the performing arts work together intensively for five weeks to further develop their artistry. The group consists of a mix of actors, musicians, composers, designers, performers and visual artists who are curious about each other's working methods and methodologies. Under guidance, they engage in experimentation and are inspired by each other. This culminates in short performances.

The presentation of Talentlab traditionally takes place in the Bordenhal during Museumnacht Maastricht.
