Fran Hoebergen showcases unexplored corners in materials, techniques, and art forms through his work. By creating strange combinations with various media, he sheds new light on conventions. His passion for music production and performance influences his experiments with visual work and is often the catalyst.

In his latest project, "Having a Blast," he experiments with blowing wet paint away with air compressors. He has explored different angles to find shapes and compositions that can showcase the three-dimensional quality of this painting technique, which has led, among other things, to the creation of Lissajous knots by connecting the air gun to a pendulum, a well-known scientific phenomenon. During the Museumnacht, this technique will be used to make a beer-bottle organ generate sound.
