Museumnacht Maastricht
Museumnacht Maastricht is an annual cultural event that introduces a broad, and especially young, audience to the city’s cultural richness. During this evening, cultural institutions join forces to present a shared program featuring art, culture, performances, and special activities.
The programming is made possible by, among others, Boekhandel Dominicanen, Bonnefanten, Brouwerij Bosch, Bureau Europa, Centre Céramique | Maastricht Museum, Fotomuseum aan het Vrijthof, Jan van Eyck Academie, Lumière Cinema, Marres, Muziekgieterij, Natural History Museum Maastricht, Theater aan het Vrijthof, Toneelgroep Maastricht, and Transport Artspace.
Since the first edition in 2016, Museumnacht Maastricht has grown into one of the city’s largest cultural events. Every year, museums, venues, and cultural institutions open their doors for an evening full of art, culture, and social encounters. Attendance has steadily grown from a few thousand visitors to more than 6,500 visitors.
