Over Jelle
Jelle Stiphout (1991) graduated from the Toneelacademie Maastricht as a director in 2018, after which he started to delve into visual art and performance art. During Talentlab 2021, by Toneelgroep Maastricht and VIA ZUID, he made his first 'abandoned' set (i.e. without players): WE APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, which will also be presented during the Art Appetizer.
About Talentlab
In Talentlab, the talent development project of Toneelgroep Maastricht and VIA ZUID, young promising, professional talents from the performing arts work together intensively for five weeks to further develop their artistry. Together, they work towards a final result that will be shown to the public during one evening. The first edition of Talentlab took place in 2015.
