Always wanted to search for underground treasures? Dinosaur bones and fossils? This is your chance! Discover fossils like a real researcher!

In the past the area of Maastricht wasn't land at all but a warm tropical sea where all kinds of animals lived, small, large and extremely large predators such as the Mosasaurus! All these sea creatures have been preserved as fossils, petrified in the ground, and they are found here in Maastricht.

During this workshop, you are able to search yourself, with the help of the microscope, for fossils. What will you discover during the Art Appetizer....?
